Sardinia

The house is a traditional Sardinian town house the size is more than 200 square meters and is located in one of the central squares in Chiaramonti, The property dates back some hundred years ago when properties were made very well!  the walls are super thick which keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter months, the house used to belong to a shoe maker, hence the collection of shoes you will see on various walls, we have spent 4 years doing this property up and love the location, the people are very very friendly and if you want a true experience of what it is like to live in a quaint Italian village then this is the place.

The house has 4 double bedrooms each with a double bed in, the 4th double bedroom and this has been doubled up also as a second lounge and has a large double sofa bed, with TV, and playstation.

The bedrooms are large and can accommodate and extra single bed if needed, The house is set up for 8 people but can accomodate parties over 10 people please let me know as we can put in extra single beds in for a small charge. 

Upstairs there is a large landing which is the central point for all the bedrooms.

There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, the one upstairs has shower, bidet, toilet and sink, the hot water cylinder is here and take 80 litres, please use sparingly  the water as this is a problem for the whole of Sardinia in the summer, as you can imagine it doesn’t rain for many months!

Down stairs there is another lounge number 1, this is about 25ft long and 16ft wide, two windows one looking out to the central piazza, a TV is here, couches etc  etc

The Dining room is long with original stone walls, which has been carefully restored; the dining room table is extendable and easily accommodates eight people, 6 when not extended.

The downstairs bathroom accommodates a Jacuzzi /shower unit along with toilet, bidet, and sink, fully tiled.

The Kitchen has 2 large work surfaces, cookers (which is run partly on electrics for the oven and the hob is gas,  a gas bottle is supplied) In the larder there is a fridge freezer and storage place to put all your belongings!

The walls of the house are thick in some places half a meter thick, so the internet and phone signal are not possible in all locations of the house, you will find that upstairs is better and closer to a window is also better, we will supply a dongle for your use of the internet and locate this where is works best but as you can imagine this is sometimes trial and error! Please feel free to move around but the dongle must remain in the house at all times..the rental Price is ranges from £1200 - £2400  per week.

At Reds bar there is also free internet to use, just ask at the bar and they will tell you the password.
